THE EDMONTON UKULELE CIRCLE – FRESH BEATS AND NICE STRUMS SINCE 2011

Edmonton Ukulele Circle was the first Ukulele Circle in the Edmonton area. It began in 2011. We are delighted to have inspired the creation of a number of other circles in the City and surrounding area. Please see a listing of other circles posted on this website.

Edmonton Ukulele Circle has been hosted by the Bogani Cafe, Blackbird cafe, and is currently being hosted by the Second Cup Cafe located at 8902 – 149st in Edmonton.

We play on the second and fourth Mondays of the Month between 6:30 and 8:30. It is FREE. We encourage all attendees to buy a coffee or a treat from the cafe that hosts us without charge, for these evenings of fun.

A ukulele, a music stand, and the Yellow, Beloff, Daily Ukulele, and Blue, Leap Year Edition of the Daily Ukulele, are all you need.

We are a self lead circle. Everyone is encouraged to take a turn choosing a song and leading, or starting, the song’s pace and strum. We will gladly play a song of your choice that is not in the Beloff books, but please bring at least 20 copies of the song for players to share.

We enjoy getting together from time to time to play and add value to community events in the greater Edmonton area.

Players of all ages and ability, singers, and listeners are all very welcome.

Please refer to this website for changes to our regular scheduled Circle dates, and special events.

Come join us and see what it’s all about!
