Need a band for a casual performance? Choose us!
Our performing group draws its members from our regular Edmonton Ukulele Circle group, which is an open community with a focus on sharing fun music.
The number of performers will vary depending on availability, but could be 10-25 people as circumstances dictate.
Typical engagements have included 60-90 minute sets at street markets, heritage parks, and extremely casual parties. Our repertoire is fun, simple music. With enough notice, we can tailor our setlists to your general requirements (early 20s music, children’s songs, singalong favourites, etcetera).
We’re currently booking about a month out, but let us know — we might be able to fit you in.
What you’ll get:
- Maybe a kazoo or some rhythm maracas.
What you won’t get:
- Freebird, probably.
- A string quartet for your formal wedding.
- Injured in a mosh pit.
If you want us, let us know! We’ll talk about details, but you can let us know a little bit right here.
Also sometimes available: a 5-6 piece stage combo with a little swing. The Edmonton Ukulele Circle may refer these requests to the individual player(s) leading the combo, with whom you can discuss your requirements.
Is it still a combo if we’re all ukuleles? What if one of the ukuleles has a little drum or something? How about an amp? 4 out of 5 dentists agree, and the fifth dentist just… well, we don’t ask him a lot of questions.
Thanks for your interest!
