Here is a list of “off site” circles and events that promise ukulele fun this summer. Music will be from the Beloff books, provided on this site, at the event, or in the case of Woodstuke on the HULA circle site. Registration with Edmonton Ukulele Circle for most events necessary in advance of the event.
May 12th Edmonton Valley Zoo 1PM – 3PM by the Gibbons house
June 01 John Janzen compost deck 1 – 3PM come and play with members of other circles on the compost deck in the compost area of the park outside Fort Edmonton.
June 15th Seba Beach Market, Seba Beach ( about 1 hour west on Hyw 16) 10AM – 12.30. Come and play at the market! *Registration at Blackbird Cafe necessary
June 23rd Ukrainian Village 1:30PM -2:30 (1hour east on Hwy 16) *Registration with Edmonton Ukulele Circle at Blackbird Cafe necessary.
June 29th Little Bits fundraiser at the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre off Whitened Drive 4PM – 6 PM *Registration with Edmonton Ukulele Circle at Blackbird Cafe necessary
July 13th Seba Beach Market 10AM -12.30 as above *Registration with Edmonton Ukulele Circle necessary at Blackbird Cafe
July 28th Edmonton Valley Zoo 1PM – 3:00 By the Gibbons House
August 18th “Woostuke” starting about 2PM see HULA circle website for details
August 23th 5.30 – 7PM Zoo Brew Foundation fundraiser meet at the entrance to the zoo *Registration with Edmonton Ukulele circle at the Blackbird Cafe necessary
September 8th Ukrainian Village 12.30 – 1.30 *Registration with Edmonton Ukulele Circle at Blackbird Cafe necessary.

August 3rd and 4th Bluegrass Festival Stony Plain Ukulele workshops 10AM – noon check the Bluegrass Blueberry Festival website Sponsored by the Bluegrass Society. The fee for the festival includes the workshop.
Central Lions summer workshops: Each workshop is $15.00 between 10.30 and noon with Ron Mercer:

August 27th – percussion with the Uke
